1.Laddu Holi, 03 March 2020

 

The story of this unique and special Laddu Holi played in Mathura and Vrindavan is very interesting. It is believed that this Holi started from Shri Krishna's childhood. According to beliefs, this holi is celebrated in the joy when the Sakhas of Lord Krishna and Nandgaon accepted the invitation to play Holi in Barsana. In the joy of receiving the invitation, the Sakhas of Nandgaon fed each other with sweets. During this time some Sakhas had also played Holi with Laddu. Since then, Laddu Holi is celebrated with pomp every year.

2. Lathmar Holi, Barsana 04 March 2020

 

On March 4 2020, Lathmar Holi is played in Barsana - village of Radharani. Here Huriyare (Shri Krishna Friends) always come from Nandgaon village of Lord Krishna to play Holi. In the various parts of the town, the enthusiasm is being seen by the people, where footstool are being taken out on the Rangili Gali. Young boys sings chaupai and learn them from their elders, drums are also being decorated in different places.

3. Lathmar Holi of Nandgaon 05 March 2020

 

Exactly 1 day earlier where the lathmaar Holi of Barsana was taken place with Hariyare of Nandgaon playing holi in barsana, protecting themselves from the attacks of lathh of the gopies from their shields. After one day these people of Barsana, reaches Nandgaon (Lord Krishna's village) where once again Lathmar Holi takes place.

4. Rawal Holi 05 March 2020

 

Lathmaar Holi is being organized on March 05, 2020 in Rawal (the birthplace of Radharani). On the same day Bhajans, Russias are sung as the consonant offerings. Lalit Mohan Kalla, the head of the temple, told that Mangala Aarti-Darshan can be done on March 05 at 6 am. Darshan of Shringar after Bal Bhog was at 9 am, Rajbhog Darshan at 12.30 pm, Russia, Bhajan singing starts from 2.30 p.m., Afterwards Lattmar Holi from 3 pm to 6 pm begins, continuing with Shayan Aarti etc. at 9 pm.

5. Holi of Krishna Janma Bhoomi 06 March 2020

 

Holi with flowers and colours is being played in an elaborated way continuing with cultural programs. 421 kg flowers are used in this FLower Holi of Shri Krishna Janambhumi, in which most marigold and rose flowers are used. Shri Krishna and Ladli Radha plays with flowers and showers them to everyone. An eye-catching persona of Devotees can be seen with the colourfull petals of flowers.

7. Chhadikmar holi in gokul 07 march 2020

 

The famous Chhadimar Holi is played in Gokul on Falgun Shukla Paksha Dwadashi. Here the Gopis do not have a Latt in their hands instead have a stick. The Gopals gets beaten with stick by Gopis. Here. It is believed that Balakrishna have done different lillas with the gopis for which he gets 'Pitai' from Gopis.
